Ever since I stopped swimming for our Summer break, I haven't really done anything except playing video games and lifeguarding. But in order to get back into shape for Swimming, my family has begun to do a little thing known as CrossFit.

At swimming, our coach also does CrossFit and models our dryland after his own CrossFit sets. Actual CrossFit is not that much different from dryland except for the fact that it is much more intense and we use much heavier weights. Not only that, but there are some pretty huge people there. I am pretty sure some of those people could bench press me.

CrossFit is just so intense. It leaves you not in pain right away, it can, but it usually does not start to hurt until a few hours later. And let me tell you, when it does start to hurt, it really hurts. Today we did a set where we used jump ropes, rings, ran, and did burpees every minute. After the first few minutes it felt okay, but after awhile it really started to hurt.

CrossFit hurts now, but in awhile I expect to all go for a good cause since I will be gaining muscle!!

The New iPhone!

In a few weeks from now, Apple will announce the newest iPhone. Most likely around the 12th of September, there will be a press conference like Apple usually does when they have a new product. Websites on line say that the iPhone will then go on pre-order sales and finally come out around late September, near the 20th.

Just like the iPhone 4S, there will be three different types of iPhone, 16, 32, 64 GB phones. I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely, looking forward to this new phone.

As of yesterday, I finally got something that I have been wanting for a very long time. As you all know, I love video games, and my favorite is Battlefield 3. Most games nowadays have addons to the game known as DLC, downloadable content. Battlefield 3 has this package, where if you spend $50, you get all the DLC, you get them two weeks early and there are extra events that one can participate in only if they have Battlefield Premium.

This was actually a very good deal. Most map packs are $15-$20 or in Microsoft Currency, 1200-1600 Microsoft points. Since they are making only 6 (I think) DLCs for this game, you save about 15 dollars from buying each one separably.

In each content pack, there are 10 new weapons, at least 4 new maps, new vehicles and much more. To me this is what keeps the game fresh. New stuff every few months keeps me going instead of the same things over and over again.

My Birthday!

My birthday was a few days ago. It was a very chill and relaxed day for everyone in my family. I pretty much spent the whole day playing video games and watching TV with siblings.

Later in the day, we met up with our dad and went out to Outback Steakhouse for dinner since I freaking love steak. After that we went to the movies to see the new Batman. The Dark Knight Rises was such a great movie. A lot of twists and a surprise ending really made the end of the trilogy a good one.

For presents, I got promised the new IPhone when it gets released in late September. I am quite excited for that. And to finish off the day, we went to get some milkshakes and some cake. All in all it was a good day.

I'd like to start off by saying Happy Birthday to my mom!

In my family, August is a very big month full of birthdays. My mom's birthday is today and my birthday is just around the corner a few days away on the 15th. I am super excited to turn 16. The most obvious reason is because I can now get my license to drive.

After my birthday, my cousin's and aunt's birthday is just a few days later. This month is just chock full of birthdays!

The Heat!!

It is what I can finally consider summer here in Washington. It is about 80 degrees here and I can not begin to explain how uncomfortably hot it is. Being used to the colder weather here in Washington, the heat is just so unusual.

I like the 40 degrees Winter/Early Spring weather because that is just the perfect weather. But 80 degrees is just too hot. I remember one summer that it almost got to 100 degrees and was just so terrible. Especially since we were doing dryland outside for swimming, doing pull ups in that type of heat is just unbearable.

I love candy. I love a ton of food that is bad for you. My favorite candy has got to be 100 Grand Bars. Those are amazing. They have that rice crispy treat texture to it which I like and it has the caramel. I love all candies with caramel in them. Twix bars, snickers, you name it.

I also have a sweet tooth for sour candies. My favorite sour candy is sour patch kids. I love those, putting like 4 different flavors in my mouth making the awesome combo of awesomeness.

And finally, when it comes to candy, I love the classic just regular plain M&Ms. That is some good stuff.
